A Guide to Honolulu Haze Hemp Flowers

Honolulu Haze was born from a combination of AF6 and Hawaiian Haze, a magical marriage that creates some beautifully tropical hemp flowers.

It’s a heritage that provides a balanced mix of effects, leaning more toward the Sativa side and providing a mix of relaxing, soothing, and uplifting effects.

Honolulu Haze Hemp Flower Review

Honolulu Haze buds are relatively large and showcase some bold and bright colors, combining bright greens with deep oranges and reds. The cannabinoid content varies but we found some phenotypes topping the scales at 22% CBD, making this an incredibly potent strain.

Honolulu Haze Aroma and Flavors

Honolulu Haze’s parent strain, Hawaiian Haze, is a tropical masterpiece known for its flavor profile of pineapple, peach, mango, and candied fruit. Many of those flavors have been passed down to create an equally complex, sweet, and desirable profile—so the pineapple doesn’t fall far from the tree, so to speak.

You’ll also detect elements of vanilla, cracked black pepper, cinnamon, and bitter lemon, creating a complex cocktail, along with an earthy dankness that takes away some of that sweetness and creates more of a balanced profile.

The smell is certainly much sweeter and more pleasant than the taste. After the smoke wafts over your tongue and fills your lungs, a lot of that sweetness will be replaced by notes of burnt wood, wet earth, and freshly cut grass.

Once expelled, the smoke leaves a bitterness in its wake, but it’s not overwhelming and it lacks the harsh edge provided by strains like Sour Cheese and Sour Space Candy.

Terpene Profile

Caryophyllene lends some spicy flavors to Honolulu Haze while Myrcene imparts many of its fruity notes. Other dominant terpenes include the woody Pinene, a major constituent of pine resin, and the fragrant Bisabolol, found in German chamomile.

These compounds are known to produce a host of beneficial effects and are thought to be both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

Benefits of Honolulu Haze Hemp Flowers

These smokable flowers are a good option if you just need to kick-back, relax, and enjoy a few hours of peace. Pains will subside, stress will dissipate, and you’ll feel all of those woes depart on a wave of euphoria.

Everyone reacts differently, but generally, Honolulu Haze is best used as a social smoke or an evening pick-me-up. It won’t cloud your thoughts either, so you can smoke a joint before finishing your household chores or partaking in a creative project.

Closing Thoughts: Honolulu Haze Hemp Flowers

The balanced flavors, sweet aromas, and uplifting effects of Honolulu Haze make this strain ideal for both veteran and inexperienced users.

It’s quite common and relatively affordable, with most premium high-grade flowers selling for around $8 a gram—not bad when you consider how much CBD and quality terpenes are packed into these tight little nugs!
